According to the official WeChat news of the Guangdong Health and Health Commission, from 0-24:00 on March 15, 59 new local confirmed cases were reported in Guangdong (one of which was an asymptomatic infection transferred to a confirmed case), 55 cases were reported in Shenzhen, 1 case was reported in Zhuhai, and 1 case was reported in Dongguan. 1 case was reported, 1 case was reported in Zhongshan, and 1 case was reported in Shaoguan. There were 54 new cases of local asymptomatic infections, 1 case was reported in Guangzhou, 37 cases were reported in Shenzhen, and 16 cases were reported in Dongguan.

There were 21 newly imported confirmed cases in the province (4 of which were confirmed asymptomatic infections), 2 cases were reported in Guangzhou, from South Korea and Bahrain; 14 cases were reported in Shenzhen, 4 cases were reported in Zhuhai, and 1 case was reported in Jiangmen. from Hong Kong, China. 38 new cases of asymptomatic infections were imported from abroad, 12 cases were reported in Guangzhou, 3 cases were from Myanmar, 2 cases were from Bangladesh, and the remaining 7 cases were from Laos, Kyrgyzstan, New Zealand, Qatar, Kuwait, Jordan and Mozambique; Shenzhen reported 16 cases 15 from Hong Kong, China, 1 from Japan; 4 from Foshan, 2 from Vietnam, and 2 from Malaysia and Ecuador; 4 from Zhuhai, 1 from Zhongshan, and 1 from Jiangmen, all from China Hongkong. 54 new cases were discharged, and 1,760 cases are currently in hospital.
