Within the government supported by Movimento 5 stelle and Lega, in 2018, there are those who thought they could make a difference with respect to the traditional Atlanticism of Italy. During those months, in a meeting in which I participate as Defense Chief of Staff, I hear a member of the yellow-green executive theorize that Italy should begin to be equidistant between two “poles of international friendship”.
