AC Milan entertain Slavia Prague in the first leg of the last 16 of the Europa League. The Rossoneri completed the duel with a 4-2 win.

AC Milan vs Slavia Prague took place at the San Siro Stadium, Friday (8/3/2024) early morning WIB. The visiting team had to play with 10 men in the 26th minute because El Hadji Diouf was given a straight red card after tackling Christian Pulisic.

Milan led 1-0 in the 34th minute. Rafael Leao sent a cross to the far post and there Olivier Giroud headed the ball.

Slavia Prague was able to equalize the score at 1-1 in the 36th minute. Davide Doudera’s volley successfully tore through Mike Maignan’s goal.

Milan led 2-1 in the 44th minute. This time, Tijjani Reijnders’ shot from outside the penalty box hit Slavia’s goal.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek gave Milan a 3-1 lead in first half injury time with a header. The score lasted until halftime.

Milan posed a threat through Leao at the start of the second half. However, the Portuguese player’s shot went wide.

Instead of adding goals, Milan conceded. Ivan Schranz scored a goal in the 32nd minute with a shot from close range. Slavia reduced the score to 2-3.

Slavia threatened Milan several times after the goal. However, the final solution was for Jindrich Trpisovsky’s team.

Milan were finally able to widen the distance again in the 85th minute to make it 4-2. Rafael Leao outwitted the opponent’s defense from the left side and cheated the ball past the goalkeeper until Pulisic poked the ball into the goalmouth.

There were no additional goals in the remaining time. Milan won 4-2 and was good capital for the second leg at Slavia headquarters.
