Violent fighting is underway in the capital between Taliban militiamen and ISIS-K forces who have long challenged the role of the Taliban as the main reference of radical Islam in the country.
Also in Kabul in the morning there was an explosion in the Darulaman Road district which left five injured.
Violence in the country is now daily, and the Taliban’s claim to have restored security is only partially true. But the political difficulties of the Taliban that Isis-k tries to underline with the massacres and attacks are exacerbated by the conditions of increasing poverty and hunger, made even more serious by the winter cold that has now fallen over the country.
