Last night a group of Taliban opened fire at a wedding party in Surk-Rod, in the northern province of Nangarhar, about a four-hour drive from Kabul. “At least three people” died in the shooting, and there were several injuries. Local sources, impossible to verify, speak of “at least a dozen deaths”.
