VIENNA – Match Ahmad Massoud in Vienna a few hours before the start of the conference behind closed doors which will gather for a couple of days in the Austrian capital the various forces opposing the Taliban regime. Ahmad Massoud was only twelve years old when, two days before 9/11, a Taliban commando killed his father Ahmad Shah Massud, the leader of the Northern Alliance, the same alliance that, with the support of the forces of the international coalition, would overwhelm the regime in a few days.
