Kamala Harris’ first international mission began with a setback. A technical problem (“which did not entail any immediate safety problems”, the White House immediately specified) forced Air Force Two, the plane of the vice president of the United States, to return to Joint Base Andrews in Maryland only thirty minutes after take-off. Landing without problems, thumbs up for Kamala (“I’m fine, we all said a little prayer but we’re fine”) and – after an hour and a half – restart with another plane.
