Al Sisi’s canvas: negotiations begin in Cairo between Israel and Hamas

TEL AVIV – Hamas and Israel are preparing to negotiate in Cairo. They will be indirect negotiations: at the center there will be the very active Egyptian mediators, who will shuttle between the two delegations. If there are no last minute surprises, the two delegations will be of a high standard. The chief of Hamas negotiators will be Ismail Haniyeh, leader of the movement outside the Gaza Strip.
