The Albanian Socialist Party of Prime Minister Edi Rama is expected to maintain a majority in Parliament, allowing the architect, former mayor of Tirana to remain in power for a third term. According to data from the Electoral Commission, the PS obtained 49.8% of the votes when a quarter of the ballots were scrutinized. Rama alone would have an absolute majority of parliamentarians, with 75 seats out of the total 140 in Parliament, one more than in 2017 when it obtained 48.3% of the votes.
