American actor Jonathan Majors has been accused of violence and harassment by two other women

US actor Jonathan Majors, who last month was found guilty of assaulting British choreographer Grace Jabbari, has been accused of violence and harassment by two other women. I’m Emma Duncan and Maura Hooper, both former girlfriends of Majors: their testimonies were also used in the trial concerning the attack on Jabbari, demonstrating that it was not an isolated case, and subsequently reiterated by both in an interview with the New York Times.

Both Duncan and Hooper described Majors as a despotic, violent and manipulative character. Duncan, Majors’ girlfriend between 2015 and 2019, said she was physically attacked and threatened after complaining about some messages he had exchanged with another woman; Hooper, with whom Majors had a relationship before getting together with Duncan, instead recounted a series of episodes of psychological violence and verbal threats, arising both from his jealousy and from his reactions to discussions in which Hooper, like Duncan, had accused him of having betrayed her.

Majors, best known for his role as Kang the Conqueror in Marvel’s Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, was found guilty of giving Jabbari a fractured finger, a cut behind the ear and multiple bruises during a quarrel. The sentence in which the sentence will be communicated is scheduled for next April.
