An orphaned girl finds her beloved teddy bear after more than a year

by admin

On October 9, 2020, Naomi, a girl of Ethiopian descent, lost her precious “Teddy” on the Hidden Lake Trail inside Glacier National Park, a natural park located in Montana. Naomi had received the teddy bear as a gift from her new parents while she was in an orphanage in Ethiopia. They told her he would keep her company until she reached what would be her new home forever. And so Teddy had traveled with her across the world and they had had many adventures together.

At the end of the tourist season, the rangers were conducting a clean-up joke inside the park, when, hidden by the snow, the little, completely soaked teddy bear appeared.

Normally, being a small and very badly made toy, they would have thrown it away, but something, who knows what, told ranger Tom Mazzarisi that that little teddy didn’t want to be thrown away. “Bears are my passion. I just didn’t have the heart to throw it away. There was something special about that teddy bear, so I adopted him and called him Cesar ».

it was perfect to become the mascot of the car with which he patrolled the area. The teddy bear sat on the dashboard and kept an eye on bears and other wildlife. Together they traveled over rugged mountainous terrain and Cesar helped the ranger keep the public and wildlife safe all year round.

When autumn arrives, Naomi’s family friend returns to the park to enjoy some of its autumn beauty, made of colorful leaves and forest scents. And by sheer luck he crosses the ranger’s patrol car, with Cesar, or rather … Teddy, on board, sitting on the dashboard. Her friend’s keen eye recognizes the toy and, certain that it is him, the woman leaves a note for the staff.

Having discovered the story of little Teddy, the rangers competed to retrieve it and return it to the little one within the day. One waited for the car owner to return from the woods he had entered on foot, another chased a possible second set of keys and finally another drove to the little girl’s house to personally deliver the teddy bear. to the family.
So, on the evening of October 6, a year later, Teddy is back in Naomi’s arms. And just look at his happy face in the photo to understand that this is where he was meant to be.
