Treston Treston, Ezra’s dad, described the events of November 5 in a post published on a page on GoFundMe opened to solicit financial help with which to support medical expenses. According to the account, Ezra was sitting on his father’s shoulders when the swaying of the crowd overwhelmed them. Treston had lost consciousness, Ezra had disappeared upon awakening. After a desperate search, Dad eventually tracked Ezra to the children’s hospital, where he later passed away.
