Treston Treston, Ezra’s dad, described the events of November 5 in a post published on a page on GoFundMe opened to solicit financial help with which to support medical expenses. According to the account, Ezra was sitting on his father’s shoulders when the swaying of the crowd overwhelmed them. Treston had lost consciousness, Ezra had disappeared upon awakening. After a desperate search, Dad eventually tracked Ezra to the children’s hospital, where he later passed away. The complaint filed by the Blount family lawyer is directed against rapper Travis Scott and the company Live Nation, organizer of the event, with a request for compensation of at least one million dollars. The other victims are between 14 and 27 years old. About 300 people treated by the doctors at the scene of the disaster, 13 were hospitalized.
