The first toll of the double explosive attack on the military hospital in Kabul is 15 dead and 34 injured. Taliban officials told Reuters. So far nine injured have been taken to the Emergency hospital, reports the Italian NGO.
The two strong explosions occurred near the Sardar Mohammad Daud Khan Hospital. The first took place in front of the structure that houses 400 beds, while the second took place always nearby.
The latest attack in the Afghan capital dates back to 3 October, when at least five people died in an explosion near the Id Gah mosque in Kabul, in an attack claimed by the Islamic State. Sardar Mohammad Dawood Khan hospital, the largest military hospital in the country, was attacked in March 2017 by attackers dressed as medical personnel, an operation later claimed by ISIS in which about 100 people died.
