BERLIN – Sebastian Kurz is being investigated by the Austrian judiciary for perjury before the Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry into Ibizagate. The Austrian chancellor himself admitted that he had ended up in the crosshairs of justice for the scandal concerning the appointment of the leaders of the powerful state holding Öbag, a sort of Austrian deposit and loan bank. But the conservative politician downplayed the scale of the allegations and added that he has no intention of resigning.
