the basque festival Last Rock Festival expands this weekend to various towns in Álava with the free programming of Araba ARF Tour.
For the second consecutive year, by the hand of the Álava Provincial Council and the Llodio and Artziniega municipalities, the Azkena Rock Festival extends its claws throughout the province of Álava with a free program to bring the spirit closer to its rock and roll spirit. On Friday, June 9, in Artziniega, in the pediment car park, the Alaveses will perform Moonshine Wagonleaders of heavy-bluegrass in the Basque Country, and the classic rock quintet from Bilbao Micky and The Buzz. On Saturday, June 10, the parade will be at the Lamuza de Llodio fronton with the power trio from Bilbao the armsthe punk-rock band of Xuo and the locals Dr. Lawson.
The big event will come a week later, on June 15, 16 and 17, with the celebration of the 21st edition of the Last Rock Festival in Mendizabala, with names like Iggy Pop, The Pretenders, Rancid, Lucinda Williams, Incubus, Melvins, Alter Bridge and El Drogas, among many others.
