Twenty-five years after the Dayton agreements that put an end to the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and despite the progress made with the Berlin process, launched in 2014 and with the Sofia agreement in 2018, the enlargement of the European Union to the Balkans Westerners are again in a stalemate, and the slow pace of negotiations is increasing the skepticism and distrust of the citizens of the area towards Brussels.
