RTL: “Schschlag den Besten” weakens in the final

Three weeks earlier, RTL had brought the show back to television and on Saturday evening the prominent participants fought in the final for the main prize of up to 100,000 euros. Mimi Kraus, the former handball professional, had already secured a place in the final by winning eight games. The previous week reached a peak with a viewership of 2.23 million and a market share of 10.2 percent.

Strong ratings were recorded particularly among younger viewers with a market share of 14.6 percent. The broadcast of the show throughout the evening also led to a late broadcast time for the reality show “Make Love, Fake Love”, which only started at 12:30 a.m. Here the RTL star Antonia Hemmer tried to convince many of the “Farmer is looking for a wife” and “The Summer House of the Stars” are known to conquer the hearts of young men.
