The official added that since the Trump administration withdrew from the Iran nuclear agreement, “Iran’s nuclear program has been out of control and is accelerating every week.”

The official said that Iran’s centrifuges, enriched uranium stockpiles and the technology it has developed make it “only a few months” away from the ability to produce nuclear weapons, and pointed out that Biden and Bennett will discuss “how to deal with this issue”.

The official said that the US government is concerned about Iran’s nuclear activities, but hinted that Biden will definitely reject any proposal made by Bennett to prevent efforts to restart the nuclear agreement.

The official added: “Of course, we are committed to diplomatic channels… We believe that this is the best way to end Iran’s nuclear program and cancel Iran’s nuclear progress over the past few years.”

He added, “If this doesn’t work, there are other ways,” but did not provide more details.

On the other hand, Bennett preemptively preempted his meeting with the President of the United States. He stated in a statement that he believed that resuming the nuclear agreement with Iran was not a reasonable solution. Bennett also stated that he will propose a regional alliance between Israel and Arab countries to counter Iranian activities.
