“Yes I think so”. So Joe Biden answered the question of George Stephanoupolos of ABC who, in the interview with Good Morning America, asked him if he thinks, since he “knows him well”, that “Vladimir Putin is a murderer” referring to the Navalny affair.

Navalny’s Anti-Corruption Fund (FBK) immediately comments on Twitter: «Biden calls Putin“ a murderer ”. Because it really is. It will be difficult for some to accept it but the president of Russia is a killer. To all those who doubt, show them our video on how Vladimir Putin tried to kill Alexey Navalny ».

The Russian authorities also react, through the president of the State Duma, Vyacheslav Volodin who declares: “The words of the President of the United States, who in an interview with ABC said he considers Vladimir Putin a murderer, constitute” an attack on Russia Said Volodin who added, it is the result of “hysteria caused by weakness”.

But Biden does not seem intimidated, on the contrary he has detailed heavy accusations against Putin, connoting him as an all-round opponent: the Russian president “will pay a price” for trying to influence the outcome of the last presidential elections, says the American president. Putin is therefore also accused of having tried to damage Biden’s candidacy and exacerbate tensions in the country, according to what emerged from a US intelligence report.

The Russians had also responded on the interference. The allegations “are without foundation, without evidence and are wrong,” said Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov. «We do not agree with the conclusions of the US national intelligence on our country. Russia did not interfere in the previous elections and did not interfere in the 2020 ones referred to in the report. Russia is not involved in campaigning against any of the candidates, ”Peskov added. “In general, we can once again express regret for these accusations, which are far from substantive, and are used as an excuse to introduce the question of new sanctions against our country.”
