PARIS – Emmanuel Macron defends the entry of Sweden and Finland into NATO and calls Recep Tayyip Erdogan to try to overthrow Ankara’s veto. The French leader asked the Turkish president to respect the “sovereign choice” of the two Scandinavian countries defined as the “result of a democratic process and reaction to the evolution of their security environment”.
