Brazil: Bolsonaro, Senate commission ok to accuse: “Crimes against humanity”

In Brazil, the Senate commission that investigated the Brazilian government’s handling of the pandemic approved its final report, which accuses the president, Jair Bolsonaro, of “crimes against humanity” and eight other very serious crimes . The report, the result of six months of investigation, was approved by a majority of the eleven members of the commission and will be forwarded to ordinary justice, the Prosecutor’s Office, the Supreme Court and even the International Criminal Court in The Hague, which will have to evaluate whether to initiate the related procedures.
