Brexit, the EU offer to Boris Johnson: “Less 80% of customs controls in Northern Ireland”

LONDON. It almost sounds like an ultimatum, that of the European Union to Boris Johnson. Indeed it is. “There is no other proposal. This is, we have already made many concessions to the United Kingdom unprecedented in the history of the EU,” said Maros Sefcovic, vice president of the EU Commission. It is another chapter, and yet another clash between the UK and the EU, in this never-ending story of Brexit, which in part has yet to be written.
