Brexit, the majority of Britons want closer relations with Europe

LONDON – Seven years after their country’s referendum on leaving the European Union, more than half of UK voters now want closer ties with the EU. And even in the regions where the vote in favor of divorce from Brussels was more clear-cut, today more than double of those questioned believe that the best path for the future is to move in the opposite direction, that is, to get closer to the continent.
