British parliament closes its Tik Tok account: “We don’t give our data to China”

LONDON – Why did the British Parliament in Westminster shut down its TikTok account, at the same time as Nancy Pelosi’s visit to Taiwan? The two episodes, apparently, do not seem directly connected. But it is another sign of the international pressure that is also growing in the Indo-Pacific, as demonstrated by the same furious reaction from Beijing.
