Brussels wants to cut funds for Hungary. Message to the sovereignists

BRUSSELS – The EU Commission takes part in the fight against Hungary and proposes to block a large part of its cohesion funds: money of 7.5 billion euros. The cause is always the same: Orbán’s government does not respect the rule of law. It does not guarantee the minimum level of democracy required by the EU Treaties, it does not protect minorities and the judiciary.
