Angela Brambati and Angelo Sotgiu return to the Ariston with a song that invites you to live life to the full
I Ricchi e Poveri are competing in Sanremo 2024 with the song «Ma non tutto la vita». Written by Edwyn Clark Roberts, Cheope and Stefano Marletta and arranged by Merk&Kremont and Edwyn Roberts, the song is a hymn to living life to the full, to getting on the track now. And we start with a self-quote of «It will be because I love you» («What confusion») in the incipit.
«But not all your life» is a declaration of intent, a pop translation of the philosophy of seizing the moment: «Even the most beautiful rose becomes withered/Okay, I’ll wait for you, but not all your life/You turn around a Now the night is over/The stars are already falling.” «This song is an invitation not to postpone – say Angela Brambati and Angelo Sotgiu – to launch yourself to pursue what you want not only in the emotional sphere, in the couple’s relationship but in general in the things that we are passionate about».
