[Epoch Times, May 31, 2022](The Epoch Times reporter Li Xin comprehensive report) California Highway Police released a document on Sunday (May 29) evening, US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (Nancy Pelosi) Her husband was arrested Saturday night for DUI after the Porsche he was driving was hit by another vehicle in Northern California.

Paul Pelosi’s new 2021 Porsche was caught in northern California’s Napa Valley, the California Highway Patrol said in a news release Sunday night. Another vehicle crashed while Paul was trying to cross State Route 29.

Paul, 82, was hit by a 2014 Jeep as he drove into an intersection near Yountville on Saturday night, police registration reports said.

The incident happened just five miles from the Pelosi’s multimillion-dollar vineyard.

Law enforcement officers did not arrest the 48-year-old local driver, but arrested Paul about 80 minutes after arriving at the scene, and he could face two misdemeanor charges, one for driving under the influence and one for driving under the influence, the documents said. A blood alcohol level of 0.08 or more.

No injuries were mentioned in the police report, and no one was blamed for the accident.

Paul was released Sunday morning on $5,000 bail.

The Pelosi married in 1963 and have five children. The couple often travels between San Francisco and Washington because of their wife’s work in Congress.

Nancy Pelosi was not with her husband at the time of the incident. Hours after her husband’s arrest, she gave a commencement speech at Brown University in Rhode Island. She made no mention of her husband’s arrest.
