Fifty-nine articles, promulgated by the president – who also heads the Central Military Commission – of which little is known, given that a complete text has not been published. It is a scheme to standardize already existing basic principles and lay the legal basis for the troops of the People’s Liberation Army to carry out missions – at home and abroad – such as relief in the event of natural disasters such as earthquakes and floods. , humanitarian aid, peacekeeping operations and to protect the safeguarding of national sovereignty.
