On December 7, the “Chongqing Activity Day” of the China Pavilion at the Dubai World Expo was held in Jiangbei District. On the same day, Chongqing reached a number of investment cooperation agreements with overseas enterprises or institutions, and the amount of on-site signings exceeded 5 billion yuan.
The projects signed this time involve multiple fields. Among them, the Chongqing Council for the Promotion of International Trade and the China Representative Office of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry signed a strategic cooperation agreement to build an exchange and cooperation platform for Chongqing companies and Dubai companies to promote trade and investment cooperation; Chongqing High-tech Industrial Development Zone Management Committee and Chongqing Green Power Smart Energy Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation agreement Investment cooperation agreement with a contract value of 4 billion yuan; Chongqing Xiaokang Import and Export Co., Ltd. signed an automobile sales contract with the United Arab Emirates Holding LLC Group Company with a contract value of 20 million US dollars; Chongqing Dima Industry Co., Ltd. signed an overseas product agent with Peng General Trading LLC of the United Arab Emirates , Resource cooperation projects, the contracted amount is 120 million yuan.
According to reports, the “Chongqing Event Day” of the World Expo is hosted by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and the Chongqing Municipal People’s Government. During this period, in addition to the project signing, a series of exhibition activities will be held in Chongqing and at the Dubai World Expo site.
According to the relevant person in charge of the Municipal Council for the Promotion of International Trade, 500 companies in the city participated in the event through online and offline methods, and directly negotiated face-to-face or online with more than 1,000 domestic and foreign companies.
