Clash between Poland and the EU, Tajani: “The ruling of the Warsaw Court is wrong and harmful”

“I don’t know if it is a political sentence, it is certainly a stretch and it affirms a wrong principle. So it is to be rejected for a mere question of law”. Antonio Tajani, coordinator of Forza Italia and vice president of the EPP, rejects the decision of the Polish Constitutional Court which affirms the primacy of national legislation over the European order. And at the same time Tajani criticizes the stance of 12 governments for the construction of walls against immigrants.
