Clashes in the West Bank with the Israeli army: 5 Palestinians killed

Tel Aviv – Gunfights took place tonight in at least five areas in the West Bank, as part of an Israeli army operation aimed at arresting some Hamas fugitives. The army forces, partly belonging to the Duvdevan unit operating undercover in the Palestinian Territories, encountered massive armed resistance both in Burqin, near Jenin, and in the village of Bidu, between Jerusalem and Ramallah.
