Climate, Sir David Attenborough appointed “citizen representative” for COP26

LONDON. Can there be a better representative of the citizens in the battle for the climate? No, and that’s why the Johnson government chose Sir David Attenborough, the legendary British naturalist and BBC icon who just turned 95 just last week. It will be him today who will be appointed “People’s Advocate”, “the people’s advocate”, or more correctly the representative of the citizens of the United Kingdom and the world, as regards COP26, the crucial climate summit organized by the United Kingdom and from Italy to be held next November in Glasgow, Scotland.
