AstraZeneca: Our third dose neutralizes the Omicron variant like the Delta one

The British pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca has announced that the third dose of its vaccine against Covid-19 increases the levels of antibodies against the Omicron variant “significantly”. “The dose booster neutralized the Omicron variant to levels broadly similar to those seen after the second dose versus the Delta variant,” the company said in a statement citing data from a laboratory study.
