Coronavirus in the world, Germany exceeds 3 million infections since the beginning of the pandemic. India worse than Brazil

The number of cases of Covid-19 contagion recorded in Germany since the beginning of the pandemic has exceeded 3 million, according to data from the German Institute Robert Koch (Rki) and the American University Johns Hopkins (Jhu). In the last 24 hours, the infections were 13,245, says the Rki, with the national incidence rate that in the last 7 days stood at 136.4 per 100,000 people. The European country of over 83 million inhabitants has reported nearly 78,500 deaths from coronavirus so far, while 2.68 million people have recovered from the infection in Germany according to Jhu.

India surpasses the cases of Brazil

India reported a record 168,912 Covid infections. Health administration data exceeds those of Brazil: India thus becomes the second most affected country globally by the coronavirus. Indià’s overall tally reached 13.53 million, surpassing Brazil’s 13.45 million cases. The United States leads the ranking of infections with 31.2 million cases.
