Covid, restaurateur No Vax died in Marsala: he had been hospitalized for a month in intensive care

by admin

Maurizio Bellitteri, 60, a well-known restaurateur from Marsala near the No Vax locations, died at the “Paolo Borsellino” hospital in Marsala, where he had been hospitalized for days in intensive care in very serious conditions due to Covid-19.

Owner, for several years, of a restaurant with an adjoining bathing establishment (Lido Signorino area, on the southern side of Marsala), he was the eldest of five brothers. Maurizio Bellitteri had refused to be vaccinated. He leaves behind his wife and daughter. One of his brothers, Massimo Bellitteri, also working in the catering sector, was reached by the news while he was preparing Christmas lunch for the poor at the social canteen in Marsala. “Until the last – he declared – I prayed for him, but it didn’t help”.

The conditions of Maurizio Bellitteri, who had contracted the virus about a month ago, immediately appeared serious in the hospital, where the doctors also had to convince him to subject him to the ventilator helmet, before deciding on admission to intensive care. The fact that he suffered from obesity and hypertension also aggravated his condition.
