The German Council of Ministers has decided that starting from Sunday 1 August to enter Germany it will be necessary to present a negative Covid test, except for those who can prove a complete vaccination, the successful recovery and children under 12 years: the vice government spokesperson Ulrike Demmer via Twitter.
In France, 85% of hospitalized patients are unvaccinated
Between 31 May and 11 July, 85% of Covid patients admitted to French hospitals were not vaccinated: this is stated by the Research, Studies, Evaluation and Statistics Directorate of the French Ministry of Health. The data, observes ‘Le Figaro’, therefore seem to confirm that vaccination significantly limits the risk of being hospitalized and dying. 85% refers to all hospitalized patients: both those out of intensive care and those in intensive care. About 7% had received a single dose and another 7% had completed a vaccination course. The study also showed that 78% of Covid patients died during the same period were not vaccinated, while 11% had received only one dose and another 11% had both doses.
