CPTM carries out actions aimed at women between Tuesday (5) and Friday (8) to celebrate International Women’s Day, which is celebrated on March 8. Women who pass through the company’s stations will find several initiatives, such as legal and psychological assistance and guidance, haircuts, distribution of books and beauty products, as well as health actions in reference to the Lilac March Campaign to prevent cervical cancer. uterus.

Tuesday (05/03):

The Women’s Reference and Citizenship Center (CRCM) will offer legal and psychological assistance and guidance at Palmeiras-Barra Funda Station, from 9am to 5pm, as well as income generation workshops. The proposal is to contribute to overcoming situations of violence, strengthening women and restoring their citizenship.

Thursday (07/03):

The Comendador Ermelino, Dom Bosco, Itaquera, Guaianases, Mauá, Luz, Mogi das Cruzes and Guarulhos-Cecap Stations received actions from PROZ Educação to highlight awareness of cervical cancer prevention in reference to the “Lilac March”, offering measurements blood pressure and capillary blood glucose levels, as well as guidance on cervical cancer. The action takes place at three times: from 9am to 12pm, from 1pm to 4pm and from 7pm to 10pm.

Friday (08/03):

International Women’s Day will be full of activities at CPTM, starting at 7am at Tatuapé and Palmeiras-Barra Funda Stations. CPTM, in partnership with Lojas Marisa, will distribute 5 thousand books on women’s topics. The initiative not only seeks to encourage reading, but also aims to strengthen women’s self-esteem and addresses topics such as female entrepreneurship, the search for realizing dreams and regaining confidence. The publications are the result of a partnership between Lojas Marisa and Instituto Mol Impacto.

At the Jardim Helena-Vila Mara, Engenheiro Goulart and Guaianases Stations there will be actions from the Lilás March Campaign, from 9am to 4pm. Students from the Sequential Technical School will offer services such as measuring blood pressure, heart and respiratory rates, skin hygiene and information on preventing cervical cancer and endometriosis.

La Femme Institut will offer haircuts and eyebrow styling for passengers at São Miguel Paulista Station from 9am to 12pm.

From 3pm onwards, 2,000 beauty and skin care products will be distributed at the Palmeiras-Barra Funda and Tamanduateí stations. White eyeliner, 4-in-1 serum, translucent powder, eyelash and eyebrow strengthening serum from Lyrics Cosméticos will be given to women who pass through the stations.

And, for those who appreciate art, the entrance wall of Engenheiro São Paulo’s workshop, located on Rua Bresser, will feature graffiti in honor of Maria Odilia Teixeira, the first black doctor in Brazil, in conjunction with Frameria and Hapvida.
