Doncic wears Real Madrid shirt and equals LeBron James’ record

Luka Doncic was the character of the Dallas Mavericks’ victory over the Phoenix Suns in the early hours of this Friday. The Slovenian point guard caught attention when he arrived for the game wearing a Real Madrid shirt (see the video below). On the court, he equaled another LeBron James record.

Ex-Real Madrid, where he played before reaching the NBA, Doncic wore a personalized shirt, with his name on the back, upon arrival at the gym. And he took a precaution: he covered the Adidas symbol on the shirt, since it is sponsored by competitor Nike.

In the game, Doncic had another outstanding performance: 41 points, 9 rebounds, 11 assists and 3 steals to lead the Mavs’ 123-113 victory.

The numbers helped Doncic equal another LeBron record. He joined the Lakers star on the list of players under the age of 25 who have already reached the marks of 10,000 points, 3,000 rebounds and 3,000 assists in the last 40 NBA seasons.
