Dubai removes censorship from foreign films, but bans “under 21”

DUBAI – The United Arab Emirates’ road to ever greater “Westernization” also passes through cinemas, where from now on viewers will be able to enjoy the films without modifications or cuts to censor scenes suitable for an adult audience. This was announced by the UAE Media Regulatory Office, explaining that films with adult content will be screened in their original international version, but the vision will only be allowed to audiences over 21 years of age.
