The mass protest in Ecuador widens and deepens. At least one hundred thousand indigenous people gathered around the Confederation of Indigenous Nationalities besieged and then invaded the capital Quito, clashing severely with the police. There are at least one dead and dozens of injured. A young man died in the Amazonian province of Puyo. He had a deep head wound.
