“We are very happy that Alex, despite the interest of several top national and international clubs, has consciously decided to continue his path at and with Eintracht Frankfurt,” Nino Berndroth, head of squad planning for the U17-U21, is quoted as saying on the club’s own website

“In our NLZ, Alex has developed into one of the most promising talents of his year in Germany over the past five and a half years. This is not least supported by his outstanding goal rates in the Eintracht and national jerseys. “We want to push this development forward together and carefully introduce him to men’s football in the coming years,” continued Berndroth.

Alexander Staff started playing football at SC Hassia Dieburg and then moved to SV Darmstadt 98. At the age of ten, he then joined Eintracht Frankfurt in 2018. Right from the start, the attacker showed his qualities in front of the opponent’s goal. In the U14 of the SGE he played a major role in winning the championship in the C-Junior Hessen League. A year later, his goals helped the U15s become runner-up in the C-Junior Regional League South.

This current season, although Staff is actually still eligible to play for the U16 team, he is playing for Eintracht Frankfurt’s U17 team in the B-Junior Bundesliga South/Southwest and is showing his goal-scoring ability there. With ten goals scored and six assists in 19 league games, the 15-year-old is currently second on the top scorer list for the Eagles at the top of the table and is the fifth best goalscorer in the entire league overall.
