Eitan case: grandfather’s extradition request arrived in Israel

by admin

The request for extradition by the Italian authorities against Shmuel Peleg, Eitan’s grandfather on whom an international arrest warrant hangs for the kidnapping of his grandson brought to Tel Aviv on 11 September, “has reached the Israeli authorities”. This is what is reported by the Pavia Public Prosecutor’s Office and it is up to Israel to decide what to do even if it seems difficult that we can get to the execution of the arrest and extradition of the 58-year-old. Gabriel Abutbul Alon, the man who allegedly helped Peleg in the kidnapping, was arrested in Cyprus. He is awaiting the hearing to validate his arrest and extradition could take place in the next few days.
