Eitan must return to Italy: “This is where he has always lived”. The Israeli court dismisses grandfather Shmuel Peleg’s appeal

The Israeli Supreme Court rejected the appeal of Shmuel Peleg, grandfather of Eitan Biran. The judge of the Supreme Court, Alex Stein, recalled that the basic principle of the Hague Convention provides for “zero tolerance for kidnappings and highlights the need for immediate restitution”. The little one, the only survivor of the tragedy of the Mottarone cable car, will have to return to Italy within two weeks, the final date is 12 December, with his paternal aunt. Aya Biran, in the house in the province of Pavia where the woman lives with her family, not far from the one where Eitan, 6, lived with her parents and little brother, all of whom died in the disaster that last 23 May caused 14 victims.
