Elections in Germany, the SPD’s advantage over the CDU increases: Laschet has little chance of inheriting Angela Merkel’s chair

During the night, the distance between the SPD and the CDU / Csu grew: the Social Democrats rose to 25.8%, the Conservatives stopped at 24.1%. It is not a detail, after the two favorites for the post-Merkel, Olaf Scholz and Armin Laschet, both showed up demanding the possibility of becoming chancellors.
