Elon Musk, host of the Saturday Night Show, admitted that he has Asperger’s syndrome. The 49-year-old CEO of Tesla, founder of SpaceX and one of the richest men in the world, revealed it during the episode in which he was a guest. “It’s great to be on Saturday Night Live, and I mean it,” said Musk standing onstage at the start of his monologue. “Sometimes, after I say something, I have to say I really mean it,” he added, explaining that he is the first person with Asperger’s to be a guest on the show. “Or at least the first person to admit it,” he added.
This is the first time that Musk has publicly stated that he suffers from this mild form of autism. Musk also joked about his Twitter account, which has more than 50 million followers, and the tweets that led some critics to object to his participation on the show. “Look, I know sometimes I say or post weird things, but that’s how my brain works,” he explained.
“To anyone who has been offended, I just want to say that I have reinvented electric cars and am sending people to Mars in a spaceship. Did you think I would also be a normal and quiet boy? ”He added.
