Two people dead, one wounded, the attacker stopped. It is the toll of the evening of terror lived in one of the main cities of Alabama, where a man was shot, killing two people and wounding a third.
The police said the attacker was arrested. It happened in the Episcopal Church of St Stephen in the suburb of Vestavia Hills in Birmingham. Police Captain Shane Ware confirmed the arrest without giving further details on the man’s identity.
He said the person, armed, entered the church in the evening, during a meeting, and started shooting. Vestavia Hills is a suburb of Birmingham, one of the two most populated cities in Alabama.
