Erdogan “Draghi was rude and rude”

by admin

ANKARA (TURKEY) (ITALPRESS) – Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has chosen a meeting with young people in a library in the capital to comment on the words of the Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi at a press conference in Rome. “What he did was a total lack of tact, a total rudeness, a rudeness,” President Erdogan said today, commenting on the recent definition of “dictator” that had been addressed to him by the Italian Prime Minister. “With these observations Draghi undermined the development of Turkey-Italy relations”, added Erdogan during his meeting with the young people. Last week the Turkish Foreign Ministry summoned the Italian ambassador in light of Draghi’s comments on Erdogan, as Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu strongly condemned the “unacceptable statements”. On Twitter, Cavusoglu said Turkey strongly condemns Draghi’s “unacceptable, populist and ugly” remarks about Erdogan. He added that Turkey “returns” the comments made.
