Ethiopia, the EU embassy withdraws non-essential personnel

BRUSSELS. The European Union withdraws the non-essential personnel of its diplomatic representation in Ethiopia in the face of the worsening of the conflict between the federal government and the Tigrinya rebels of the TPLF. “We asked the non-essential personnel of our delegation to leave the country and increased the security measures for EU and local personnel,” said the spokesperson for external services, Nabila Massrali.
