BRUSSELS (BELGIUM) (ITALPRESS) – Eurozone inflation accelerates. In March, according to Eurostat data, it recorded + 1.3% on an annual basis, compared to 0.9% in February. Driving the price increase is the energy sector, which compared to March 2020 saw prices rise by 4.3%. Services, food, alcohol and tobacco follow. The highest rates are recorded in Luxembourg, Germany, Austria and the Netherlands. On the contrary, the lowest ones concern Ireland, Cyprus, Portugal and Slovenia.
