The world has reopened. “Our” half, at least: the western half. Split further in two by the entry bans following the pandemic (many others were banned for different reasons). We had a “little apple” left. Back in the Usa, the new Beatles would sing, if they existed: “You don’t know how lucky you guys are.” There was an ocean in between and it seemed to have returned to that of centuries ago: it was impossible to cross it, it could be crossed in the future.
